GETTING MY SULKY ON...

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT....
Some kitties opt for velvet or leather collars, but I like to be different, so last week I received a very special delivery all the way from New York! Yes! My very own SULKY necklace made specially for me by the Bright and Beautiful Wendy Brandes. You can purr over her fabulous jewellery and blog here http://wendybrandes.com/
Wendy is incredibly talented and passionate about her work and I have spent considerable time lusting over her gorgeous designs. So, to finally have something from the Wendy gallery makes me very happy. I have been drunkenly rolling around on silk cushions, pawing it and purring over it since it arrived. I never buy jewellery for myself, but I couldn't say no to buying this. Not a single person who knows me is aware that I have a blog (except for Mr SK). I simply choose not to tell people. However, I just love the word Sulky and it could well be my defining characteristic, so it's really a fun piece for me to wear! Thank you Wendy!

PALE & SULKY
Paws up to all you bloggers who take photographs of yourselves all the time - who knew it was so bloody difficult? I don't really have the neck of  Dolph Lundgren, I'm just trying to keep my chin from overshadowing my Sulky! (Yeah, right!)

MEOW!

  8. What a great necklace! And if I had such an unlined neck like yours, I would have posted that as a header photo long ago!
And I must tell you, you actually have a tinge of pink to your skin... I am much paler than you! (Sometimes, people ask me if I am ill, sad but true.)

  9. Oh, I love it!! You are a true Diva all the way! I think it's safe to say that this will be a true collector's item some day - it's one of a kind for sure - I suspect Christie's already has their eye on you :) And I am fascinated that none of your friends & family know about your blog.

  10. Yes!! Perfectly perfect collar, um necklace, for you S.Kitten. So my secret is out - yes, take photos of self, all shocking and deleted. That shiny flash in the mirror sure doesn't help! Should I be purchasing a tiny red bird piece of bling for moi, do you think?

  14. What a surprise to see a pic of Sulky Kitten (albeit a tiny bit of you) and it just proves I'm crap at thinking I know what my unseen blog friends hair colors are cause I imagined you as a brunette? God knows why but there you go.
Love the necklace and your neck is fabulous to boot, I can't take self portraits for love nor money. Will you confess to writing a blog if folk ask about the idea behind the necklace?
    xx

    1. Ha! I'd look like Morticia if I was a brunette. When friends comment, it will probably be to ask when the "Bitch" section of the necklace is arriving!I still won't be revealing the Blog existence. With my snail-like posting rate, it's existence is tenuous at the best of times anyway. I must kick my lazy, furry ass into action more often!

I know!!! Those people must have like ultra long arms or something. That is also an adorable collar -- it looks very sexy on your pale, UNLINED neck. Lucky you!

  20. Sulky really is a fabulous word and how lovely to see it on your neck. Great that you bought it for yourself, something I've not yet done either. I have a very big birthday right around the corner, hoping that Gray, I mean David, doesn't buy me gold handcuffs again. Might buy myself something too. Have missed your posts, I really have.

    1. Something tells me he'll be going for the platinum ankle-cuffs this year Kathy, so you can look forward to lots of quivering. And if you see him tinkering with a fur glove you'll know it's going to be a fun night! I will try to be a more frequent poster, it's a curse being this lazy!

  21. Looks cool on you. Proves, that something like that can look fine on a grown-up too. You are grown-up?
The letters hang nicely, now I wonder how letters would look around my neck.. White gold ones..
