LAZY PAWS!
 |
| Numbing my Pain |
I can hardly lift my lazy paws to type this as I've been so guilty of Blog Neglect recently. (like from the day I started it, says you!). Anyway, this is just to let you know that I'm moving house and will be without internet connection for up to 2 weeks. So, I won't be able to comment on all your lovely blogs until I'm re-connected. Two weeks!!! Without internet?? The most I've ever managed is 1 week on holiday, but then I was drinking too many cocktails to care. Anyway, I swear when I'm back online and have my life back to normal I'll be blogging much more regularly. (Don't roll your eyes in disbelief at me, Kathy & David!) I SWEAR on my own little grubby paws that I will be Bitching on a regular basis, because the way my life's been going recently, I've got plenty to vent about. My life is crazy sometimes. Everybody's is. It's hard typing when you're wearing a strait-jacket!!
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my once in a blue moon posts and a special Kitty Biscuit to all the people who take the time to leave a comment. Thank you also to the people who have given me various blog awards as well, I'm very grateful.
I have a load of packing still to do, and all I want to do is fall into a vat of gin and wake up when it's all over. So, just a normal day then!
MEOW!!! x
Moving really is the pits so I shall be thinking of you Sulky and looking forward to your return. I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts and if they only come every so often that's perfectly ok, life justs gets in the way sometimes to post regularly.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes
xx
Thank you, Annie. Buying a house where I live is akin to juggling snowballs at the gates of Hell while the Devil hoses you with a flamethrower.
DeleteHey! I recognise that posture lol! Have a safe move, and take it as an opportunity to reconnect with nature, the couch, the bathtub.. you know, all those things we used to enjoy before the internet haha :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Janice. I'd be happy to re-connect with my sanity, I think it's in one of my 50 million boxes....
DeleteYuck, moving is such a pain. I hope it all goes well. Ask for more gin as a housewarming gift.
ReplyDeleteHa! My house is already so 'warm' with alcohol I'm surprised it hasn't gone up in flames. My gin supply (what's left of it!) will be wrapped as if it's Lalique crystal!
DeleteMoving is such a pain, so I understand the use of gin. We will miss you here in bloggy land. Look forward to hearing about your new adventures at your new place.
ReplyDeleteWe moved houses too! It's exhausting isn't it? And of course everything went over budget. David hasn't blogged either - too much extra bureaucratic stuff to take care of, all creativity wrung out of both of us. Do you have renovations too? Happy to see you're back, if only for a report.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how excited I became when I saw that a Sulky Kitten post was up. Lovely to hear from you even if it is to tell us you'll be in packing/moving/unpacking misery for the next few weeks and therefore unavailable.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck moving..I'm not envious. Such an awful chore.
xo, A
Hello:
ReplyDeleteWho can resist the lure, or is it a bribe, of a Kitty Biscuit?
Good luck with the move - always a slightly traumatic experience - and we shall much look forward to your return.
Oh what's this, have you got a knitted teddy bear boyfriend two posts up? You kept that quiet.
ReplyDelete"warm" with alcohol - in hysterics! Good luck with the move, the thought of moving and packing terrifies me.
UGH...moving. How does anyone make it through that without going mad...MaD mAD... Hope it goes smoothly for you. We'll be eagerly waiting for your return!
ReplyDeleteMove over in that vat of gin and I will join you!
ReplyDeleteMoving is stressful, so take care of yourself now, you hear!
LOVE little kitty on the image :-)
ReplyDeleteI have missed your blog so pleased you explained why. I was hoping it wasn't for a horrible reason.
Good luck with move Sweets; See it as a new chapter and just enjoy every minute (remember I've just moved from Spain to the UK) with the customary tipple (every few hours.......ok every few minutes xx
Moving--fun times, fun times. As much as I dream of minimizing, the reality of moving seizes hold of me, paralyzing me in fear and fatigue...staying put is the ticket. I hope your move goes smoothly and I await anxiously for your return to blogosphere. Where have you moved to? xo
ReplyDeletegood luck with the move!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Little Kitty, I'll happily take a kitty biscuit, anytime you blog! Yes, moving is a trauma and gin will sooth the path. Hope Kitty can settle into the new digs - there are stories about kitties who want to run away back to where they came from!
ReplyDeleteTake care, and look forward to your posts, whenever you can do. xx
Wishing you good luck in your move and that life in your new home will be full of goodness.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and will look forward to your next post
Helen xx
All the best with the move - reward yourself with cocktails when it's done! Chat soon.
ReplyDeleteTwo weeks without internet! Sounds horrible. I´m so addicted to this damn thing, that I´d be crawling walls after a day; ).
ReplyDeleteAre you moving houses on your own island?
Hopefully you will get to move into a renovated place. Living in the middle of a reno can cause a mental breakdown ; )!!
Moving: what a pain! Keep on numbing. We'll be waiting for those vent posts , hanging on your every word!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Sulky!
I will have an aperol spritz for you.
ReplyDeleteHurry back kitty! We've missed you dearly, I actually got withdrawal symptoms! Ha!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move and settling into a new abode... or kitty Castle!
See you soon & Happy October to you!

We will miss you. BTw, are you supping from a perfume bottle? You are so glam even in repose, SK! Good luck with the move!
ReplyDeleteMy dear, Hope all goes well with the move. Move is exciting and at the same time, it can be chaotic but it will be very rewarding in the end. You will be adding 10 items onto the list of things to do every week after you crossed off the previous 10 items on the list. But the list will get shorter and shorter and this is the time you realise that you are settling down in a new home (for which I'm very excited for you, my dear). We shall miss you very much. In the meantime, good luck with packing and please do keep in touch. I'm sending you a lot of positive thoughts to your way.
ReplyDeleteKitty!
ReplyDeleteHope the move goes well.
And oh em geeee, you'll be internetless for 2 weeks. I'm assuming it's now been a week now so one more week to go? (Can you tell i'm rubbish with dates?). xo
Hey, so good to see you posting, even though I am way behind ;) come back soon!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it is great to get away from the internet for a while! Find other things to do with your time.
ReplyDeletePhew! Glad to see signs of life!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, Sulky where have you been all my blogging life? I just spent the past 10 minutes (which is equivalent to a lifetime in blogging terms) hooked on your blog! I don't think I've laughed this hard since discovering Accidental Chinese Hipsters on tumblr. Looking forward to more.
